    It took One and half hrs for my cheque to be signed in GPO Abids. . The person at the counter was very quick but the Authorised signatory was unavailable ! The Lady Head, may be the Post master because she was seted inside tells me the following: It is Saturday. Staff unavailable. Went for training. Will have to wait till they come. It happens at times. You will have to bear with it. Very rude behaviour and unapologetic . We are forced to go there because of our Old NSS certificates! It is my sincere advise please avoid Post office Investments. Govt. should scale down postal services in Metros and give the best services in the rural areas. 1. Staff should be given proper training. 2. Like Banks all counters should be able to handle all services. Even if one person is on leave other counters will be able to handle the works. Otherwise , the customers will be sent back stating that the concerned person is on leave as it happened in my case when I went on an earlier day for withdrawal. 3. Dynamic staff & officers and to be posted who know how to behave with the cutomers and not have CHALTA HAI ATTITUDE. SALARY THO MILTA HAI!
